Field Internship
The Dallas County Democratic Party is seeking field interns! In this role, you will be responsible for:
→ Testing and planning for the use of new mobilization and relational organizing tools
→ Preparing for and launching block walks, phone banks, postcard writing events, and other field events
→ Coordinating field events with precinct chairs, volunteers, and elected officials
The ideal candidate:
→ Is an incoming senior or recent high school graduate, a student at a college or university (including 2-year schools, 4-year schools, technical colleges, etc), graduate student, or recent graduate
→ Is able to work under tight deadlines and rapid response situations
→ Is highly motivated and excited to work directly with volunteers and voters
→ Is extremely detailed-oriented, self-starter, and well-organized
→ Has strong communication skills and enjoy talking to people with many different perspectives and work experiences
→ Has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (required)
