Finance & Development Internship
The Dallas County Democratic Party is seeking finance & development interns! In this role, you will be responsible for:
→ Assisting with preparing the Texas Ethics Commission report
→ Staffing and preparing Chair and Vice Chair for call time
→ Assisting with database management
→ Developing prospect lists
→ Working with the Fundraising Committee to plan high-dollar fundraising events, including the annual JJ Dinner
The ideal candidate:
→ Is an incoming senior or recent high school graduate, a student at a college or university (including 2-year schools, 4-year schools, technical colleges, etc), graduate student, or recent graduate
→ Understands and is comfortable working with spreadsheets
→ Is excited to work with party stakeholders
→ Is able to work under tight deadlines and rapid response situations
→ Is extremely detailed-oriented, self-starter, and well-organized
→ Has strong communication skills and enjoy talking to people with many different perspectives and work experiences
→ Has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (required)
