Preston Hollow Democrats’ January 8, 2015 Program is a panel discussion "Freedom of Assembly and Right to
Protest Balanced With The Police Duty to Protect, Defend and Serve."
Our panelists are: Dr. Eric Coleman, Criminal Justice Institute, University of North Texas; Frank A. Perez, an attorney whose experience includes being a Dallas Police Officer, a Dallas County Assistant District Attorney, and an attorney in private practice providing criminal defense (Frank was the 2014 Democratic candidate for CD32 against Pete Sessions); and Ron Pinkston, President of the Dallas Police Association.
Preston Hollow Democrats is an organization which includes members and guests from the area north of Northwest
Highway to the LBJ freeway, and from I-35 to I-75. Preston Hollow Democrats programs focus on public policy
issues and concerns. In election years, many candidates are invited to speak and respond to questions from the
audience. We meet at the Preston Royal Library Auditorium, 5626 Royal Lane, Dallas 75229, on the Second Thursday
of each month, commencing at 6:00 p.m. The program presentation is from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, followed by a 15 minute
period reserved for questions submitted by the audience.
