Election Day is Saturday, May 7
The current Texas Constitution was written in 1876 and has been amended more than 500 times. All propositions that appear on your ballot must originate in the Texas Legislature. All members of the Dallas County Democratic delegation (who were present at the time of the vote) voted yes to these two amendments.
In addition to the constitutional amendment election, the following towns, cities, utility district, community college and ISDs will hold elections on May 7.
