Election Day is Tuesday, June 18

Several local government elections not decided on May 7 will be determined by runoffs, including: City of Carrollton, City of Duncanville, City of Garland, City of Irving, Richardson Independent School District, and Dallas College.

The Dallas County Elections Department has posted the county sample ballot, a personalized sample ballot, early voting locations, and Election Day locations.

The current Texas Constitution was written in 1876 and has been amended more than 500 times. All propositions that appear on your ballot must originate in the Texas Legislature. All members of the Dallas County Democratic delegation (who were present at the time of the vote) voted yes to these two amendments. 

In addition to the constitutional amendment election, the following towns, cities, utility district, community college and ISDs will hold elections on May 7.
