It’s no secret that Texas makes voting incredibly challenging, and that starts with our voter registration laws. You’ll be able to navigate this draconian system like a pro after you hear from our League of Women Voter’s voter registration expert. And if you’re not deputized to register folks, Dallas County Elections will fix that!

You Be The Judge:
Serving As Election Judge 101

Saturday, July 29 @ 1:00 PM

The unsung heroes of every election are the folks who greet you at your polling location, take your ID, and set up your voting machines/pass you a ballot. They’re called election judges, and they work really hard to ensure your constitutional right to vote! We always need more election judges, alternate judges, and clerks to provide our communities with adequate polling locations and competent election workers. This is a PAID position, so if you’re interested, come to this informational session and learn all about the process!

Taught by Kris Farrell, Jean Ball, and Barbara Lewis

What’s Your Message?:
Messaging 101
