State Representative Yvonne Davis Town Hall Meeting

State Representative Yvonne Davis will hold a town hall meeting to discuss legislation which provides protection for consumers including discussions on utility rates, predatory lending, foreclosures, insurance rates and unscrupulous home contractors.

Constituents will have an opportunity to give input and feedback on various matters and issues as we prepare for the upcoming legislative session.  Providing protections and safeguards for our citizens must be at the forefront of all legislative issues.

During the 81st Legislative Session, Rep. Davis sponsored several bills aimed at providing consumers the necessary freedom and flexibility to obtain more favorable rates and services for telecommunication and utility services.

"While it is my intention to reintroduce the consumers' protection package during the 82nd Legislative Session, it is important that I hear the concerns of consumers to ensure that we put in place strong comprehensive safeguards," stated Rep. Davis.
