Senate District Convention Locations

Senate Conventions will be held in each Senate District on Saturday, March 20th. Thank you everyone who attended their Precinct Convention (Caucus) after voting on March 2 in the Democratic Primary.  As many of you may remember from 2008, the next step will be to hold the Senate Convention in each of the five Senate Districts that cover Dallas County.  Delegates to these conventions will vote on resolutions passed during the Precinct Conventions and elect Delegates and Alternates to attend the State Convention.

The State Convention will be held in Corpus Christi Friday, June 25 - Saturday, June 26.  Delegates elected to represent their Senate District at the State Convention will help discuss resolutions that will be included in the Texas Democratic Party's platform, elect members to the Senate District Executive Committee, vote to elect a State Chair and meet other Democratic activists and elected officials from across the State of Texas.
