Congratulations to 67% Increase in Primary Turnout

Congratulations to all of our newly nominated Democratic Candidates for their hard work and dedication that made the March 2, 2010 primary election a major success. Through the efforts of our candidates, campaign workers, volunteers and most importantly, our loyal Democratic voters, we increased voter turnout by over 67% compared to the last gubernatorial primary in 2006. That’s a major accomplishment for which all Dallas County Democrats should be proud.

But, the hard work doesn’t end here. We must continue our success by supporting all of our exceptional Democratic candidates in the runoff election Tuesday, April 13th and in the general election on Tuesday, November 2nd.
