The Financial Audit Committee is formed every two years after an election cycle to perform a comprehensive review of Party finances and expenditures.  This review is done to ensure that the DCDP's books are in order and fully compliant with federal and state election law.  Only volunteers who have a background or experience in finance or accounting are allowed to be members of this commitee.

The most recent audit was completed shortly after the 2008 Election Cycle.  The results of the Financial Audit committee's report was presented to the Executive Committee for review and confirmation.  This committee is active until the 2010 audit has been completed.
