Sunja Smith, Precinct Chair of 4602 in Irving was joined by State Rep. Kirk England and Constable candidate Roy Williams Jr. as she organized a walk for her preciinct to get out the vote in November   With only 50 days remaining until early vote starts, Sunja is heeding the call to get out the vote.  It will take an all out effort by every chair to get our voters to the polls.  We know that if they show up, we win.  If you haven't walked your precinct, put on your high tops and grab some water and join Sunja as we get out the vote. Our annual Labor Day Picnic will be held on Monday, September 6 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m.  It will be held at the Czech Hall, 4930 Military Parkway.  Join our elected officials, candidates and democrats as we offically launch the campaign season.  The party will provide the fried chicken and drinks.  Bring your favorite side dish or dessert.  There will be free admission, free yard signs, free food, free balloon hats, free parking, free air con

What a wonderful time we had yesterday with the Hon. Sandy Paul and the residents of Town Village North.  We provided refreshments, door prizes, registered several new Texas residents to vote, and provided many with information on early voting and the ballot by mail process. 
 
Thanks to all the elected officials and candidates that came out to meet and greet the residents. Also, special thanks to the Hon. Jan Kaye, and the Hula dancers that entertained the residents.

Texas Democrats haven’t enjoyed many election nights in the past 15 years, but Nov. 7, 2006, was a memorable one. Sure, Republican Gov. Rick Perry was re-elected (again), and Democrats lost every statewide race (again). But the party did pull off one big success: a sweep of all 47 elected offices in Dallas County.
